Concrete Countertops

There are two methods that are used in the manufacturing of these countertops:

PRECAST
Precasting a countertop is the the process of measuring out a mold template on the job-site and then we take the template back and create the counter-top at our facility in Anderson IN.
  1. A template is created on-site where you will be using this countertop.
  2. The template is taken back to our facility where a melamime-coated particle board mold is created according to the specifications of the job.
  3. The concrete is mixed and poured into the mold, allowing to dry for about 5 days.​
  4. The countertop goes through a curing and finishing process which involves a sealing and polishing of the beautiful countertop.
  5. For precast countertops the countertop is then installed in sections with seams that are hard to detect.

CAST IN PLACE
Cast in place countertops are seamless wonders that are created on the job-site by building out the mold where the countertop is going to go and pouring the concrete and going through the drying and finishing process on the site as well. 
  1. For this method, we actually manufacture them at your home or business where the countertop is going to be installed.
  2. A mold is built here and filled with cement and goes through a finishing process which seals the concrete to prevent it from getting stained or otherwise discolored from regular use.
  3. One great feature of cast-in-place concrete countertops are that they are seamless, no matter how large the top needs to be.

  • One of the pros of concrete countertops is the variety of designs.  Because they are poured into forms, there are many options and customizations for you to choose from:
    • Some choose to go with a slab
    • Others choose to have theirs poured with a built-in sink
    • And then others choose to have drainboards created as part of the countertop mold.
