Most demo crews show up with a hoe-ram and start swinging. If you're tearing out an isolated slab in an empty field, fine — that works. If you're removing a 20-foot section of driveway between two pads you want to keep, swinging a breaker into a continuous slab telegraphs cracks 6–8 feet into the adjacent good concrete. Now you're paying to redo what you weren't planning to touch.

The breaker can hit as hard as it needs to inside the cut line and the panels next door don't feel a thing. On heavily reinforced slabs we score in a grid pattern first, breaking the slab into manageable pieces before lifting them out — faster, quieter, and cleaner than brute force.
