One insured flatwork crew that holds your closing dates. We pour the driveways, approaches, sidewalks, and floors on your builds across Hamilton and Madison County, scheduled to the permit and the calendar rather than the weather, with a single point of contact and no sub-subbing. Send the scope and we will send a bid.
A flatwork sub lives or dies on three things, and none of them is the per-yard price. It is whether the crew shows up on the date, whether the pour passes inspection the first time, and whether you can reach one person who owns the work. That is how we run it.
We stick to the flatwork we do well and self-perform in full, rather than bidding everything and brokering the rest. For a builder that means a predictable scope on every job:
The standard residential mix is 4000 PSI air-entrained at 7% air on a compacted #53 stone base with a #4 rebar grid; commercial work steps up to 4500 PSI with fiber mesh. We saw-cut control joints the first day and dowel cold joints so the slab cracks where we tell it to. If a job needs work outside this list, we will say so up front rather than bid something we would have to broker.
We work the way a superintendent wants a sub to work: predictable, and off your plate.
For volume or repeat work across a section or a community, we will set a per-lot or per-phase price and a standing schedule, so your flatwork is one line you do not have to re-solve every lot.
All flatwork is poured to ACI 318 structural concrete standards and the 2020 Indiana Residential Code, with INDOT specifications for any right-of-way approach work. Our air-entrained mixes meet Indiana's freeze-thaw durability requirements for exterior flatwork.
